...I also saved an office where I did IT work hours and hours of work by creating an Excel template that converted banking data into a format compatible with their custom program. In have a minor in Digital Arts and IST from Penn State and completed significant course work from their Computer Science department. My first tutoring job every was tutoring adults on computers.

I was a substitute teacher for 3 years in Philly charter schools. In high school, I passed Advanced Placement tests in English and American History. Penn State awarded me 8 advanced placement credits in Spanish.

...These stories shape who we are and the world in which we live. This is why I really enjoy tutoring in subject areas deemed the "liberal arts" (and the "humanities"): literature and language arts, history, and even math. I don't know that I have a particular tutoring "style," but I tend to want to create an informal and relaxed--but always professional--atmosphere.
