I recently graduated from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) with a BA in Classical Civilization. As a part of my coursework, I have taken the equivalent of seven semesters of Latin, and I have taken six semesters of Classical Greek. Additionally, I gained a broad array of Latin teaching skills by taking a Latin teaching practicum class.

...It's a pleasure to work with highly motivated students but I also love working with students who don't seem to "get it" and are frustrated. The best moment is seeing their faces when they finally "get it". Latin is a great language and makes sense if the explanations and exercises are appropriate for the learner.
