...I periodically tutor students when I have time in a variety of subjects for which I have a strong aptitude. Mostly, I have tutored math, science and history classes. I studied Systems Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania in the mid 1980s, graduating in 1988.

...I am currently an officer in our college's chess club where we compete against other well seasoned players. We also teach the game to other students who wish to learn it as well as groom novice players to improve their skills. ...I love to incorporate creative thinking into my tutoring by bringing in everyday examples the student can connect with. I try my best to find many ways to explain the same thing and bring example problems in order for more practice.
