...I've been using Macintosh computers for my engineering/science work for the past 25 years. During this time frame I've evolved with apple technology and have always incorporated the latest technology in my research. I have also been teaching others how to use the mac's from new to seasoned users.

...I have taken 2.5 years of sight singing in conjunction with a bachelor's degree in music. I have take sight singing from 3 different professors and have learned various ways to teach sight singing. I continue to use sight singing on a regular basis in my own music studies and continually try and improve.

...In my tutoring effort, I used the Slingerland Reading Program, most specifically for dyslexic students. I am a registered tutor in this method at the Slingerland Institute in Bellevue, Washington having done my training through Seattle Pacific University. My success with this method convinced me of its value, and I continue to use elements of it in all of my tutoring work.
