...Within the Chicago Public Schools system, I volunteered as a tutor at five separate elementary and middle schools. Through those experiences, I learned that working with elementary and middle school aged students requires unique skills, such as being patient, encouraging, and motivating. After spending several semesters tutoring these students, I feel I have developed such skills.

...I have been involved in symphonic orchestras, honors chamber orchestras, and have been a first chair violinist in my high school orchestra. In addition, I have also helped teach beginning students violin while volunteering at summer school sessions. I took and passed all AP tests and AP courses in high school relating to social studies.
