...I currently substitute teach at Yavapai Community College part-time as I have just retired with the Arizona State Retirement System. However, I am not ready to give up my passion of teaching. I inspire students by making the learning process enjoyable while they develop improved study skills that they will be able to use in all of their subjects throughout their school years.

...I've used it to find the change in density with depth as you go deeper into the Earth as well as estimating the net present value of a potential sand and gravel pit. I've been using Microsoft Word since the early 1990's. I've completed numerous homework assignments, research papers, and scientific/environmental reports via MS Word.

...I make sure they are familiar with all types of problems and I also show them tricks for handling some of the more difficult problems. As my educational background shows, I have both a bachelors and a masters in geology. I am also currently teaching GLG 101 and GLG 103 at Mesa Community College.
