I remember taking it in junior high. I was so scared because all I heard about it was how hard it was.

I was a Teaching Assistant at Clear Lake High School in January 2013 to May of 2013 for algebra I and geometry. I have not really tutored professionally like this but I am educated in mathematics pretty well and like to help people. I believe I can get a concept through to a student in a way that they can understand.

...I believe that being a good teacher means continually learning myself. Tutoring through the summer allows me the opportunity to perfect my craft and teach grade levels I am interested in teaching in the future. I have been teaching in a general Ed/GT classroom for 5 years.

...I have tutored students in calculus before. I have passed the AP Calculus test with a 5 and I have taken the second semester of calculus at UT along with linear algebra. I have tutored students in Chemistry before and I have taken two semesters of introductory chemistry at UT, along with two semesters of organic chemistry and I am currently signed up to take biochemistry.
