I have 27 years of experience in teaching of Science (Biology, Chemistry, General Science) at the high school level. I have also taught at the Community College level in preparing students for the GED. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and a Master of Science degree in Education.

...I bring this same type of passion when I teach what I love to do. Most students only need a slight nudge at some core concepts of a subject before the "puzzle" fits together in their mind. Once that happens, the student progresses quickly.

...I greatly enjoy working with kids of all ages, however a majority of my tutoring experience is with upper grade levels. I hope to bring the joy of learning to as many kids as possible and help them live up to their potential.I am pursuing a degree with a concentration in history. That is, 18 hours of coursework which is the equivalent of an academic minor.
