...In the fall, I lead multiple hikes into the forest. On each hike I take about 30 people from all ages into a local natural habitat where we spend a couple of hours finding fungi and talking about their ecological roles. In the winter I serve as a science consultant for grade-school students and provide the best answers that I can for their very broad questions.
