...For graduate school, I attended the University of Idaho where I participated in an environmental research assistantship, a teaching assistantship, worked for the university's Department of Statistical Science as a statistics tutor, and earned a M.S. Degree in Statistical Science. I taught the College of Natural Resources's course Introduction to Geospatial Analysis.

...A large part of being a success as a mentor is learning why my assistance is needed in the first place. There are many different reasons why a student may need tutoring. It may have little to do with the aptitude and current potential of the student and more to do with knowledge gaps in their academic background, study skills, or how much a students likes or dislikes a subject.

...I am also a continual learner; if I do not understand a subject, I will read up on it until i fully grasp the concept. During high school, I was exposed to AutoCAD and fell in love with the program. In college, I was exposed to a number of other programs that I did not know anything about.
