...I am a Medical Doctor from Colombia, so I have more than a basic knowledge about nutrition. I won an award (Mina Shaughnessy Memorial) in 2006 at City College about Obesity. As a medical Interpreter many times I have had to help Spanish speaking patients with their dietitians appointments.

...While this experience was challenging, I grew to appreciate and respect my students for all the hard work they put into their courses. Here is where I discovered a passion for teaching.
