...My passion for math and science has given me more than expertise in those subjects, but also a strong analytical mind that is essential to success and growth in life. I am finding more and more as I get older that critical thinking is rarely taught and greatly needed. I feel that getting experience teaching students one on one is the best way for me to have an immediate impact.

...All we need to do is to learn this language and as any language it has own grammar and rules, notions. So studying math or physics is very similar to studying foreign language. The only difference is the "words" of this language.

...I have written programs in Matlab for the last 4 years at Drexel University. My code experience is far reaching, meaning I have written object oriented programs, data processing and analysis, control system design, digital signal processing, image processing, etc. I have never formally taught a class for it, but I have assisted and tutored my peers numerous times on Matlab techniques.
