...Physics research is also based on an objected-oriented C++ program that I created with a carefully crafted object-oriented design using classes, inheritance, and polymorphism. I am definitely proficient in programming in C++. I have programmed in C since 1997. I eventually transitioned to a C++ programmer in the last 12 years, but C++ subsumes C.

...My studies included research projects about muscular dystrophy and epilepsy. From 1997 to 2003 I worked mainly with adults with physical disabilities and sense disabilities (blind and deaf), and learned American sign language and Braille writing. Starting in 2006 to 2009 I took additional courses in child development and special education.

I graduated cum laude in April 2012 with a BS degree in Physiology & Developmental Biology with a minor in editing. I worked as a teaching assistant in the physics department for a year and spent another year (3 semesters) in a microbiology lab. In many situations I have demonstrated an ability to simplify complicated topics to help others understand.
