...I graduated in June of 2011 and I have been doing private tutoring sessions since then in Irvine. I just recently moved to Lakewood and was looking for students to tutor so I decided to make a profile on WyzAnt. In my past experiences I have gotten great evaluations from my students because I take my time to help them understand the material which they are unable to do in a classroom.

...Because of my red hair and the way I teach, my students gave me the nickname "Ms. Frizzle" years ago and it continues today. I just think I need to be excited about what I teach or how can I expect my students to even like the subject.I have taught for 30 years.

...My tutoring experience began in the setting of a public library (which lasted a couple of years), and slowly progressed into private one-on-one tutoring. Tutoring has always been extremely enjoyable to me because helping people is truly such a gratifying experience. Having received tutoring myself, I know how beneficial it is and how helpful it can be in the long run.

...When I was in junior college, I did take general microbiology, parasitology, and virology and passed them all. While I was a medical student at St. Matthew's University, I had to take 2 courses of medical microbiology I and II for matriculation--These two courses cover pathology caused by a variety of microorganisms and I did meet this requirement and successfully completed both courses.
