...I studied Ancient Mayan at NIU with Stan Witkowski and started a coursework for a Doctorate in Archaeology at Arizona State University working with Christy Turner. As an undergraduate At NIU my minor was Anthropology - I went on to obtain a post graduate degree in Anthropogly/Archaeology. At NIU I also worked with Ken Honea replicating the process for making stone tools from obssidian.
