...I understand that subjects can sometimes be boring, so I like to teach some subjects in a more entertaining way. I also like to relate subjects more to world subjects so that the topics being taught can apply during everyday life. I am only available during the summer.I currently tutor K-8th in a grade school on campus.

...New books are an opportunity to devour a story and gain the information it provides. Learning to read is comparable to one day being blind and the next being able to see. The first time you see a word as a word and not just a bunch of letters is an excitement that I still remember.

...Proof-reading and grammar are strong skills of mine. I have often re-structured students' research papers for grammatical and style corrections. Most importantly, I enjoy seeing the "light bulb come on" as students begin to grasp the task before them.
