...I have been teaching high school mathematics for 10 years. Courses I have taught include Algebra 1, Geometry, Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry, and Financial Algebra. While at my current school I was the Internship Coordinator and was a recipient of the Above and Beyond Award given by WABC TV.

...My philosophy is that no two students learn math exactly the same way, and it is my job to determine how a student learns and how to utilize this process and make a student more efficient. I value the importance of WHY and not just HOW. Mathematics is a much easier subject when you know WHY you are doing something rather than simply memorizing the HOW to do it.
