...I am acquainted with music history even more because of the music periods of my piano/voice pieces. I taught our own three children to read from the McGuffy Primer, which uses phonics. The first two were reading by this method at age 3.

...I am very familiar with, and actually use, the various software packages for computing direction fields, and phase planes of systems of differential equations. My current favorite is Sage (a free online math tool,) but I also want to introduce Wolfram Alpha to you. It is easier to use, and might be all you need.

I have over 10 years of experience teaching and tutoring high school through graduate school. My strength in writing and math have helped me score in the 96th percentile on the SATs and the 99th percentile on the GREs. I don't believe in rigid teaching formulas but instead I work with a student to find a system that works for you.
