...I've been volunteer tutoring basic mathematics for over 4 years now. I try to help by emphasizing vocabulary commonly found in word problems, along with all of the operation concepts as well as their rules. For the past 4 years, I've been accommodating all kinds of Special needs students, from students with ADD, to students with physical disabilities.

ABA Therapist - If your child has some problem behaviors my best approach is to work with them incrementally, with modest goals initially, to achieve compliance in completing tasks. I increase demands as the child's cooperation improves.
