...For example, the chain rule is just, "the derivative of the outside times the derivative of the inside", in all its applications. This simple statement may seem strange, but once my students learn to see it, I often hear, "why doesn't the teacher explain it that way?" I know more than just common knowledge concerning excel. I use it often to to statistical analysis projects for pay.
