I found that this time was invaluable for students struggling with certain concepts and I was almost always successful in helping those students overcome whatever obstacles they faced. ...Most D.E.'s are impossible to solve analytically. In fact, there are very few that we can actually solve, which makes a differential equations class a whole lot easier. The trick to doing well in a differential equations class is learning how to classify problems by the means that we learn to solve them.
