...I was an assistant teacher for 5th grade and an assistant teacher for grades six to twelve special education. I greatly enjoy working with kids of all ages, however a majority of my tutoring experience is with upper grade levels. I hope to bring the joy of learning to as many kids as possible and help them live up to their potential.I am pursuing a degree with a concentration in history.

This is my 5th year teaching and I love it! I teach high school biology. In the past years, I have always scored the top testing scores within my school, above all the other teachers and I have been a part of a district that has met conditions in regards to passing scores on the TAKS test.

...I enjoy teaching new things to people, and have been told I can easily relate to others. I try to teach through use of analogies and real world examples as I feel those are very easy to relate to. I am also very patient and an excellent listener who can identify issues with understanding and adjust my teaching style accordingly.
