I'm a UC Berkeley Engineering Graduate, currently employed as a professional engineer by the State of California. I can tutor math, physics, chemistry, materials science, and chemical engineering. Also, I can assist students in test prep, particularly the math sections of all standardized tests, as well as AP and SAT subject tests in selected disciplines.

...But then I take them back to the beginning, find out what they missed learning, and correct that. Math is like building a brick wall, each layer relies on a solid foundation. If you didn't learn fractions or the multiplication table, you're never going to get through Algebra.

I received my bachelor's degree of Art Mathematics in 1992. Teaching in high school level in calculus, Trigonometry, and Advanced Algebra was the most enjoyable years during my ten years of my teaching career. I've been a Math tutor at Diablo Valley College for two years.
