Tutored for Olympic College. Started with Organic Chemistry and expanded to include Algebra through Calculus and most of the sciences. I was well liked by most of my students and was asked by them to help with other subjects (such as English or Music) that I had to decline.

...I believe that a teacher is successful when they tackle the student's questions in a way for the student to discover. To me, this means adept use of the Socratic method to elucidate the finer details of topics. I lead students to answers to their questions using skillfully chosen questions about what the student already knows.

...I grew up learning some from my grandma, and as such, I took to studying it on my own as well. I love the language and I have a strong grasp on all aspects of the grammar as well as pronunciation. I have had plenty of experience with art, and in particular, with drawing.
