I have been a Latin tutor for 4 years, and I strongly recommend that both Middle School and High School students study the language. It controls English vocabulary and grammar. Latin can add 60 points to an SAT score.

For your tutoring, I would begin with your particular needs, as you and I see them, and then form a program of exercises to meet those needs. When approaching a topic, I like to start with the basics and then try to see the big picture.
