...Very recently one of the Dean's of Academic Affairs said to me: "You are a Rock Star in the Classroom". I take that comment to be a reference to my instruction since I neither play an instrument or sing that well. My basic attitude to the learner of the English Language is that the student is here to gain as much fluency and confidence in speaking well our language.

...Astronomy is a field in which I have much interest. Besides taking courses in my undergraduate work, I try to find as many opportunities as possible to go out and view the night sky and learn about deep sky objects. I would be thrilled to share my knowledge of astronomy with you!
