...In college, I utilized my knowledge to complete four semesters of calculus. I took trigonometry as a combined class with algebra 2 in high school around 10th grade. I continued using my trigonometry knowledge through pre-calculus and calculus the following years.

...I enjoy breaking down difficult to understand concepts by using simple, every-day analogies, and only introduce academic terminology after the student has firm understanding of the material. I'm also a huge fan of demonstrations! Chemical reactions written on paper are no comparison to actually seeing real-life examples.
