...I realize not every student really wants to learn. Some simply just want to be spoon-fed or shown a few tricks and short-cuts, just enough to pass their exams or get by in their class. While I do subscribe to the theory that there are no short-cuts to learning, I will readily admit that there are short-cuts to simply passing a test or passing a class.
