...Additionally, I had one specific student in which I tutored specifically to help them improve their study skills. In the past I have tutored high school students who have taken the regents in Biology, Math and Earth Science. I, myself, grew up in NY and have taken all the required regents.

Hopefully, this is reflected in your own academic achievement.The MCAT is the most intimidating standardized test that college students take and it shouldn't be. Yes, it covers a lot of material...but the depth and difficulty of what is asked is fair and reasonable.

...My sophomore and junior year of college I taught International Teaching Assistants English. I taught them pronunciation, enunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and American culture. ...As for teaching style, I feel that the concept drives the skill. If you have the idea of what to do on a problem, you do not need to complete 10 similar problems. As such, I like to spend more time on the why than the what.

...I currently attend Lehman College pursuing an M.S. in Science Education. I am a New York City Teaching Fellow, and have a transitional certificate for grades 7-12 in Earth Science. I am teaching summer school in July and will be a full time high school teacher in Earth Science as of September.
