I also studied and experienced biological and environmental topics in the field for many years as a boy scout and a boy scout merit badge counselor. ...I think this approach also helps establish stronger relationships, and I feel that you are willing to learn much more from someone you have closer ties to, rather than someone you don't. One of the people I look to for inspiration is Albert Einstein. While most people see him as just a brilliant man, he himself never really felt that any of his ideas were indisputable.
