...I spent my HS years on the Debate Team and Speech Team, and performed in school plays. Public speaking is often a source of fear for many students. Properly coached, students are thrilled (or at least less fearful) about delivering a speech.

...I believe my greatest teaching skill is the ability to discern where students are in relation to subject matter and identify problem areas. I am then able to work with them to bring them up to where they are supposed to be. Generally, I do not tell the students what to do.

I am a college junior and have taken many courses on the best way to study. I have a 3.6 GPA and am enrolled in major level courses at school.
