I've been tutoring math since high school. In addition, I tutored my niece to her high school diploma. Currently, I have a son in high school.

...I was a classroom teacher for 7 years, and had been working as an instructional assistant the 9 years before that. Those tutored by me have seen huge jumps in test scores (namely basis comps and precomps). Those who tutor with me also get a free IXL account to track student's progress and further train them. I have tutored math and science for 7 years. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from A.S.U. and am currently getting a Masters in Science Education from N.A.U.. With my students I like to use lots of example problems and focus on real world applications. There is a beauty in math and science that is often obscured by traditional education.
