Hi! So first, a quick bit of background: In 2011 I graduated from UCLA with my B.S. in Neuroscience and started working up the administrative ladder of a surgical clinic in Beverly Hills. About a year in though, I couldn't stand cubicle life any longer, so I handed in my two weeks' notice and started looking for a different vocation.

...Studying for the SAT/ACT tests really helps to focus on how thorough the student's basic understanding of the material is. I give students ways to relate and hence better remember the material they studied in Geometry and Algebra. We also practice test taking strategies.

...I like them to read their textbooks, understand what they missed. After I make sure they understand what was going on, then we attack the problems. Usually I let them redo the problems they had.
