...I am very familiar with the four branches of American Anthropology - cultural, physical, linguistics, and archaeology. I studied Ancient Mayan at NIU with Stan Witkowski and started a coursework for a Doctorate in Archaeology at Arizona State University working with Christy Turner. In the 1980s I went to Oaxaca Mexico on several digs and helped to excavate the ancient Mayan city of Copan.
