...My love for science came later, and I’ve spent my career in the health sciences field. After graduating Emory University with a degree in neuroscience, and completing my masters in science at Penn State, I spent over 8 years working at the Centers for Disease Control. I recently returned to school to complete my PhD in epidemiology and biostatistics at USC, in which I am in my third year.

...In the Mathematics Test, three subscores are based on six content areas: pre-algebra, elementary algebra, intermediate algebra, coordinate geometry, plane geometry, and trigonometry. I have had years of training in a applied math while in college. I also have the experience of applying those skills while working as an engineer.

...My approach to teaching, is simply providing what is lacking, what do I mean by that? Many times in mathematics, one is lacking the fundamentals to solving the problem, it isn't necessarily that the problem is difficult per say. Not understanding fundamental concepts prevent students from achieving their full potential.
