...I have tutored this subject more than any other, largely helping remedial students or students hoping to ace standardized tests such as the SAT. I am most qualified to teach biology because I have a bachelor's in molecular biology. My emphasis is on cell and animal biology, though I have intensely studied ecology, plant life, genetics, and microbiology throughout my education.

I graduated from Yale University with a doctorate in physics. My thesis was on the visible characteristics of quasars. I have successfully taught in community college positions in Virginia and Texas, where I had to sell my subject to a lay audience.

...In the past when I tutored elementary school students, my style tended to be one of encouragement. My primary goal is to nurture a sense of accomplishment and pride in the student, so that they may eventually find themselves engrossed in their studies with little to no need for a tutor. In essence, I try to impart my own passion for learning on the student.
