I received my Bachelor, Master, and Doctor (Ph.D.) degrees in Mechanical Engineering with minor concentration in Mathematics from the University of Memphis. I have been working in industries and tutoring (at nights and weekends) for more than 15 years. My approach is to assess student strengths/weaknesses to come up with a best tutoring method for him/her to achieve the greatest results.

...I have also learned a few methods of teaching geometry in my Credential Courses. I took college Precalculus and have studied different high school precalculus curricula. This is one of my favorite topics to work with because learning it well provides a strong background for future math courses.

...Students find this class is very fun once they understand how it applies directly to their own lives. There is much to memorize, but I have study tools to help with that. Additionally, my goal in teaching is to first present course material in a way that's easily understood, then demonstrate how the information applies to everyday life and modern research.
