...The human body and how it works are my favorite subjects to learn about and teach. I have been a doula for 30 years and because of that I wanted to know everything I could about how the body works. I know that being a doula seems to mean that I was only concerned with the birthing process, but that is not true.

...After the puck found his stick, I yelled "shoot!!" as loud as I could and this insecure kid BLASTED in a shot from center. Everyone on our side went crazy and his dad practically hugged me. A beautiful moment in several people's lives and more important to me than my own accolades, such as the time I scored the winning goal in our team's soccer championship.
