I work in the student’s home or at the local public library. If the student is under age 18, I require that a parent or other adult is present at home during the time of the session.

...I am patient and able to explain the same concept/theorem in a variety of ways. I think students are relaxed around me and enjoy my sense of humor while tutoring. I teach the material thoroughly, helping students understand why facts are true.
