...During my time at Lee College, I was selected for and participated in the Texas Junior College Coaches annual All-Star game. During my time at UH, I had numerous opportunities to tutor and student teach classes. Since my days at Lee College, I have given basic and advanced coaching to kids and teenagers on baseball in general and specifically pitching.

...I teach patients how to take care of themselves and thoroughly enjoy the teaching aspect of nursing. I have been substitute teaching for the past few months at The Woodlands Christian Academy in The Woodlands, TX. I use some flash cards, but prefer teaching by the child doing things with their hands; literally picking up apples, balls, touching a puppy, etc.

...In high school I was invited to participate on the regional Certamen team for the Texas Junior Classical League state competition, the only member of the team not from the mighty Baytown Lee High School. I graduated from Rice University with a BA in Classics. My studies included a course on Roman civilization, including history, art, and mythology.
