...I worked in the Mission Control Center as back-room support in the ISS program with responsibility for collecting, organizing, and uplinking documents for the ISS crew. I use my photography to tell stories and design virtual products for sale online internationally. I write blogs on CNN iReport and other blog sites and include my personal photographs of historic moments.

...I have also have experience in teaching in new environments than are not traditional. I traveled to South Korea, Philippines, China, and Japan teaching overseas as an ESL instructor. Teaching in new and different cultures provided challenges but awarding to push the boundary as an educator.

...I never would have gone down my career path if I did not have teachers early on who had a passion for science. In order to give back some of the inspiration that I received, I am dedicated to helping encourage those who are also invested in pursuing a career in science and medicine. I tutor all different levels, ranging from middle school science and math through postgraduate board reviews.
