...I would volunteer at the tutoring center at my college. My friends actually worked there, but I only volunteered. My friend who was a tutor at the center would ask me for help if she could not figure out the math problem and I succeeded of course :). I would also get paid for offering private tutoring to high school students.

...My students usually raise their grades at least 2 levels. I can tutor all levels of math and science, from elementary through calculus and chemistry. Besides tutoring, I teach high school full time and have been for 18 years.

...I find it much more productive to take the student out of the home environment where there are multiple distractions so we can focus and make the most of our time together. I received my B.A. from Yale University (double major in Economics and Japanese Studies) at 20 years old and a law degree (J.D.) from U.C. Berkeley, Boalt Hall at 23.
