My name is Gretchen and I am a seasoned tutor of students of all ages. I began tutoring math when I was 12 to high school seniors and have expanded my clientele to people of all ages (from 8-50) in subjects such as Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus A-D, English, Literature (Shakespeare included), History, and High School Sciences. I also provide SAT, LSAT, GMAT and BAR exam test prep.

...Fun Fact: I was a national debate quarter-finalist in 2012 and in 2011 I placed 6th at an international debate competition in China.In high school and in college I played chess competitively and for fun. I have played since childhood and I have an excellent grasp of rules and strategy. I taught Sunday School in Salem, Oregon, at the Methodist Church.

...Algebra 2, although a tad more difficult than Algebra 1, poses the same problems to mathematicians. Learning the basic material and building off of that material will lay the foundations to classes like Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Precalc, and Calculus. In Algebra 2, it's imperative to learn how to navigate the calculator and how to perform certain operations in your head.
