...My classroom was a resource classroom for students with learning disabilities; therefore I worked with individual students and students in small groups. I taught for 3.5 years and later took a job at Delta Airlines as a Flight Attendant. My experience at Delta Airlines was wonderful as I was able to travel to many cities in the Unites States and throughout Europe.

...I try to teach from a practical, rather than conceptual point of view. I find that this brings meaning to the theory and often... immediate understanding where there was none before. Once a student comprehends WHY something is the way it is, memorization becomes a thing of the past and a deeper level of understanding can take root.

My least experience area may be in the automotive information area but I am familiar with the concepts of the internal combustion engine and basic repairs required. I took and passed the Georgia GACE (the Georgia equivalent of the PRAXIS) in high school math and broad field science.
