...I have wanted to study Geology since I was 7 or 8. I have been fascinated by rocks, land processes, and geologic hazards for as long as I can remember. I have traveled to Europe and studied the Alps, as well as studied most of the US geologically.

I taught Physical Science, Environmental Science and Biology at the high school level for 12 years. I taught Life Science, Prealgebra and Reading at the middle school level for 7 years. I taught Intermediate Algebra for a junior college for 4 years.

...Many students find it to be a difficult topic since they have not yet developed the ability to visualize objects in 3D. It is not uncommon for student's grade to go down from Algebra I, but then in Algebra II there grade may go back up. I have taught this subject at Mountain Vista High School, both during the year and in summer school.

...I could play the highest level solos and received a 100% on one of my solos. My solo competitions landed in the all county band twice and the area-all state band once. I continued lessons throughout college and played in the orchestra and flute choir.
