...I believe my enthusiasm would make this subject fun to learn and help students relate to past events. I have taught adult students in a Junior College Setting, helping them with their GED prep and have taught male inmates, GED classes, for a prison system for one year. My first degree was in Environmental Biology where I worked for the Division of Wildlife and Natural Resources part time.

...This is my favorite of the 5 subjects (writing is the 5th), since so much improvement can be made; it is as much strategy as it is skill. I score on average a 33-35 on this test. I love that you don't have to be good at science to do well in this section; it tests data and reading ability more than science content.

...Reading can be fun and is best paired with writing. My experience includes using phonics, spelling rules, using root words, prefixes and suffixes to find word meanings. I also have taught reading comprehension.
