I completed two post-doctoral research positions at the University of Texas and the University of Minnesota. At the University of Texas I continued my research on microbial ecology, while at the University of Minnesota I pursued a project on bacterial viruses.

...When I am tutoring, I enjoy getting to know the student and understanding the way the student learns. From my experience, I have found many creative ways of explaining common problems.
