...One of the great difficulties many students face is the self fulfilling prophecy that I have always been poor at math and I will always be poor at math. The key to success is for the student to believe that they can become better at math. Therefore I have the student experience earned success in order to achieve some confidence.

In my student teaching, I developed reading and academic interventions for students with dyslexia that included functional reading and utilization of adaptive equipment.
