...I mostly tutor in chemistry since I am a chemistry major, but I have also helped students in other subjects. I want my students to like the subject they are taking and actually understand it. I can go at a pace that the student feels most comfortable in and I will show them how to work out problems the easiest way.

...I am very patient and believe in teaching by example. My general teaching strategy is the following: I generally cover the topic, then explain in detail, make the student do some problems or write depending on the subject, and finally I make them explain and teach the topic back to me. The following meeting, we review the topic once again to prove they mastered it.
