...I've taken university Physics 1 and 2 with calculus (PHY2048 and PHY2049) and received the Physics Award in 2011 from Miami Dade College. I've taken Methods in Theoretical Physics, Modern Physics 1, and Thermodynamics at FIU. This semester I will be taking Modern Physics 2, along with Solid State Physics (as far as physics goes) at FIU.

...We will learn terms like circumference and area of a circle; also, area of a triangle, volume of a cylinder, sphere, and a pyramid. Trigonometric functions and angle derivation will be explained and applied. Geometric proofs are an important aspect of geometry and so these will be extensively explained.

...I must have had a mental block about it. Now that I've been through college and grad school and am about to start Medical School I realize just how fun science can be IF it is taught right!
